Chelsea and Gavin -- June 16th Studio Impressions Photography – creating a style that is totally unique
A winter wedding in Queensland is never all that cold and so Chelsea wanted to bring a touch of frost to the event by using Dusty Miller foliage, black privet berry (now banned as a noxious weed – our loss) and vibrant ruby red roses for the reception, held in the Stamford Plaza’s River Room.
The bouquets and ceremony flowers featured ivory roses and white orchids with Dusty Miller foliage -- softer, muted colours -- keeping the focus on the people and the vows rather than on elaborate flower displays. Invitation Station once again excelled re the stationery -- 'reserved' signs for special family members, swing tags for the guest table displays, noodle boxes and signs for the lolly buffet along with the stunning invites etc etc.
The flower posies from the ceremony chairs were ‘recycled’ and later displayed along the front edge of the bridal table interspersed with tealights. In the river room stunning displays of red roses gave warmth and wow to the room (vibrant colours were used to advantage here) and Styled Events’ chair covers and sashes were exquisite as always.
As a grand finale guests enjoyed a lolly buffet -- delicious treats in reds, white and black -- displayed in various jars, bowls and cake stands.
