Sarah and Ross – December 30th Studio Impressions Photography – capturing moments that lead to treasured memories.
Sarah’s favourite colour is orange and this dictated the decor from the beginning. Also the Kiwi background of the couple came to the fore with a fern leaf token placed on each guest’s napkin.
With the ceremony held in the Stamford Plaza Hotel foyer under a specially designed canopy (Chuppah) of flowers and vines this wedding was off to an amazing start. Even the chairs displayed vine entwined swags and clusters of flowers which were then used again on the bridal table.
Pre-dinner drinks in The River Room were followed with an all-out-affair in the Grand Ballroom. Alternating table displays of tall vases and tree branches with cascading displays of gerberas (bride’s fav flower), lilies, snapdragons, roses, ferns with vines set the scene.
A special toast to the bride and groom was made with guests drinking special Goldschlarger schnapps(real gold leaf) to celebrate the couples good health and prosperity and following tradition, Sarah and Ross sat at their own special table.
To end the evening the couple posed for a final photo with the romantic Story Bridge in the background. Another memory of a never-to-be-forgotten day, captured by the Master himself (Marcus from S.I.).
